Q: How do Baha’is worship?
A: Worship takes several forms in the Baha'i Faith, including individual prayer and meditation, and collective worship. The principal gathering of Baha’is in a particular locality is the Nineteen Day Feast, which brings together the members of the Baha’i community for prayer, consultation and fellowship. Another Baha'i form of worship is devotional gatherings, where Baha’is and their friends and neighbors gather to read scriptures from the Baha'i Faith and other religions in members’ homes or Baha'i centers. In the Baha'i Faith, work performed in the spirit of service is also considered a form of worship. |
