Baha’is are urged to “Consort with the followers of all religions in a spirit of friendliness and fellowship.” One way they do this is through the commemoration of World Religion Day.

For the 78th year, the Bud Billiken Parade will step off at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on Chicago's South Side.

Baha'u'llah, Founder of the Baha'i Faith, implored people to "Close your eyes to racial differences and welcome all with the light of oneness."

Baha'i communities throughout the United States and elsewhere observed World Religion Day on Jan. 16 through a variety of activities.
