It is with great anticipation that we announce the second annual Baha’i Choral Music Festival, to be held May 15-18 at the Baha’i House of Worship.


Baha'i Choral Music FestivalJudging from the tremendous response of participants and the community to last year’s festival, this year’s should be just as spectacular, if not more. The festival gives singers from around the country an opportunity to visit the Baha’i House of Worship, learn a cappella sacred songs and perform them in the auditorium of the Baha'i House of Worship, one of only seven Baha’i temples in the world.

The festival is expected to attract more than 200 singers, who will perform works based on the sacred scriptures of the Baha'i Faith and other religions. The formal concert will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, in the auditorium of the House of Worship, after which the choir will sing outdoors on the steps of the temple.

The concert is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the public parking lot at the CTA Purple Line Linden Avenue station on 4th Street. The $2 fee is being waived that day by the Village of Wilmette.
