Learning Centers

Individuals, families and communities converge throughout the year at the four national schools, two institutes, 34 regional schools and hundreds of local schools, created to provide a rare and wonderful atmosphere of peace and fellowship and opportunities to nurture our spirituality. These schools are operated by the American Baha'i community and are open to everyone.

National Schools & Institutes

These national facilities offer beautiful residential settings with a wide variety of year-round programs for families, adults and children:

  • Bosch Baha’i School — Near Santa Cruz, California
  • Green Acre Baha’i School — On the coast of Maine
  • Louhelen Baha’i School — Northwest of Detroit, Michigan
  • Louis G. Gregory Baha’i Institute — Located near the South Carolina coast and serving the area with a broadband radio station (WLGI 90.9 FM) and the local population with educational and faith-based programs.
  • Native American Baha’i Institute — Located on a Navajo reservation in northern Arizona and serving a large area with educational and faith-based programs.

Local and Regional Schools

Regional schools are usually one- or two-week programs held during the summer, winter or spring breaks. Dozens are held each year in a variety of locations, including college campuses, campgrounds, conference centers.
